We have another expecting mother due very soon. Ladybird is due late March/early April. We purposely planned these litters 2 weeks apart so there weren’t so many new borns. This litter is also fathered by the wonderful Greek Garden’s Krat

Expected kitten colors from Queen Beatrice and King Kratos! This pairing combines smoke, silver, and red genetics, which can produce some incredibly striking kittens. Since Kratos is Polydactyly, there is a 50% outcome for poly’s. 🖤🩶❤️🧡

LITTER ANNOUNCEMENT!!! We are excited to share that are gorgeous Black Smoke Queen, Beatrice, is expecting, and very very soon. This will be my first litter in over a year, and I’m truly honored to have the sire be the one and only Greek Garden Kratos, a stunning TICA Quadruple Champion King. Kratos is a beautiful Red and Silver Spotted Polydactyly and is an exceptional representation of the breed. Having 3 male cats fail hips in my Cattery set me back a little so I’m incredibly grateful that she trusted me with her amazing King!! Kittens are expected the third week of March. What an accomplishment!! Willow got 2nd place in a final. This is a big step towards becoming a Grand Champion. We did not plan continuing her show career but a couple more finals and she will receive a Grand Champion. That is also a huge milestone f

Willow’s third and final show. I was going to wait and announce this when her title came in but I’m too excited. Willow CHAMPIONED at her last show in New York. She is now a TICA Champion. It’s so exciting because she is my first and only cat I’ve shown and I feel somewhat accomplished in this little cat hobby of mine. I can’t wait to breed Willow with our newest male, of course not until he gets a satisfactory Hip Radiograph grade. Meanwhile, kittens are due in 2 weeks. We are excited to introduce the newest member of the Coastal Coons family, Vegas. He comes all the way from Uzbekistan. He has joined us as a potential future king. From the moment he arrived, Vegas has embodied everything we strive for in our breeding program. He has exceptional structure, and a calm, confident temperament Maine Coons are known for. While in Russia, he earned his Grand Champion Title. Unfortunately those points do not transfer to TICA so Vegas will be attending his first show in New York at the end of the month. Vegas has already taken important steps in his health journey: -Hip x-rays to evaluate for hip dysplasia & an Echocardiogram performed by a veterinary cardiologist to screen for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) These foundational screenings are critical to perform before we decide to add a cat to the breeding program. Before Vegas earns his official title as a Coastal Coons King, he will undergo our complete evaluation process: -Full comprehensive genetic panel screening for inherited conditions -Bloodoerk to evaluate organ function and overall health • Detailed physical and structural exam looking at – Body structure and conformation – Patella stability – Tail integrity and flexibility – Musculoskeletal soundness. Most of these are also important for show quality. Only after successfully passing each of these evaluations will Vegas be formally inducted as an official king. Every decision we make is rooted in protecting the long-term wellbeing of our cats and the future of the breed.Vegas represents an exciting step forward, and we look forward to sharing his journey with you as he completes his final evaluations.
